Please note that we have decided to postpone our AGM into the next academic year. This will give our new Year 7 parents the opportunity to find out about the BSWCA and stand for election to one of the posts that we need to fill.
The Community Association plays a vital part in the school community and all parents, as members, are invited to support the AGM. This is your chance to hear how the funds you helped to raise have been used for the benefit of our children.
The AGM is also an opportunity for you to elect the Committee members who will represent the association throughout the upcoming year.
Both the Chair and Secretary will be standing down. In addition, the Committee is also needing someone to help out with communications; an especially important role to ensure success and maximisation of fundraising efforts. For more information on these roles, please click on the role.
Nominations should be sent by the 22nd June for anyone wishing to stand for any of these roles (remember, you can nominate yourself!). Existing Committee members wishing to stand for re-election do not have to be nominated again but should inform the BSWCA of their intention to stay in their role.
If you would like any further information or to submit a nomination, please email email@example.com and one of the Committee members will get back to you.
As our Community Association is a registered charity, all Committee members automatically become Trustees of the Charity. Before submitting your nomination, please read the Charity Commission publication The Essential Trustee – What you need to know (CC3) on the Charity Commission website.
